It's panini time! Today we review Stouffer's Three Cheese and Ham Panini. How does it compare to other paninis we've reviewed? And just what the heck is a panini anyway? All of those questions are answered.

The post Stouffer’s: Three Cheese & Ham Panini review appeared first on Tasty Lies | Frozen Meal Reviews.

Well, look at that. A month later, and it’s another Tasty Lie. Still trying to work out the kinks after the big move. This site will never die, I don’t care what has to be done. I’ll make an effort to dedicate more time to it in the future.

Onto the review! Today we have Stouffer’s Three Cheese and Ham Panini. For those of you that don’t know, panini is French for “fancy sandwich that happens to be grilled.” Oh those French, thinking up words for everything. Now then, we’ve had panini reviews on the site before. Some of them, like Lean Cuisine’s Philly Steak and Cheese Panini were terrible, while their Spinach, Artichoke, and Chicken Panini ended up way better.

How would Stouffer’s turn out, though? Most of their meals tend to do pretty well here, but we’ve never had one of their sandwiches. Let’s get into it.

First of all, this sandwich looks jam-packed with the goods. I see lots of ham and cheese, and wouldn’t have it any other way. It also looks layered. Ham, cheese, ham, cheese, ham. I don’t expect it to actually look like that in the real version, but that would be pretty sweet. The bread is nicely toasted, and pretty thick. What they want you to believe, is that this is the perfect ham and cheese sandwich. Is it, though?

This is more of what I was expecting, though not a bad thing. It’s a mish mash of ham and melted cheese. Before I go any further, let me proclaim my love for melted cheese. It’s probably the best ingredient in anything, ever. There’s a lot of it on this thing, too. That makes me hopeful. But let’s slap this thing together and make a sandwich of it.

Alright, well, here’s the thing. It looks good, it really does. It doesn’t look as good as the box, and that was never going to happen. That’s fine, though. There’s an abundance of cheese on this sandwich. The downside is, look how shiny that bread is. That’s grease. All of that cheese leads to a lot of grease, which is unfortunate.

The taste is what’s important, though. It’s not the greatest, but it’s not the worst. This panini is pretty middle of the road. The cheese is good, but greasy. The ham is good, but tastes a little too hammy, if that makes sense. The bread wasn’t hard or dried out, but had too much grease on it. So, while it wasn’t a bad sandwich…It just wasn’t particularly delicious.

After a long hiatus, Tasty Lies has returned! Our apologies for the long time away. As noted in the last review I moved cross-country back to California over the New Year’s holiday and have been without internet in my apartment until this past weekend. So posting new reviews has been a bit problematic. Hopefully we can get back on a bit more of a schedule now, though. Starting with this!

Today we have a breakfast sandwich from our breakfast expert, Marissa. This is the first time we’ve seen one from Special K. I don’t know about you, but in my mind Special K is the cereal people. I didn’t know they had frozen meals as well. Hopefully it’s even partially as good as their cereal. Let’s check it out!

Well, so far it looks like your standard breakfast sandwich. The main difference is that instead of being on an English muffin or biscuit, this one is on flatbread. That makes it healthy! Right? The cheese is also different. Usually you get yellow cheddar on just about every single breakfast sandwich. I’m not sure exactly what this cheese it, but I’m intrigued. The egg and sausage look decent. Let’s see what the real deal looks like!

It looks pretty good, to be honest. The cheese melts a lot better than the box would have you believe. The fact that it’s white cheese helps it stand out, I think. On the box the sausage and the egg are the same size. Obviously that’s not quite the case with this one, the egg is a bit bigger. It looks fluffy, which I didn’t expect. I’m really hopeful for this one, but of course Marissa will be the judge.

Another morning, another breakfast sandwich. During my last trip to the grocery store, I was happy to see a new offering for breakfast Sandwich. The Kellogg’s Special K Sausage flatbread looked pretty good. Nutritionally, it is VERY comparable (SK has a fewer calories, but a little more fat and everything else), to the Jimmy Dean D-Lights Sausage sandwich (and you all know how much I like that one) so I figured this might be ok, but not as good.

I was wrong. This is definitely as good. The cheese (which I had to find out from the ingredients what KIND) is “Pasteurized Process White Cheddar Cheese Product” which is almost the same as the JD one, except not yellow. And the cheese actually has a lot of flavor, more than JD. Also, there is a healthy amount of kick to this sausage. I would definitely say that it’s spicier than the JD one. The “flatbread” is one of their Sandwich Thins. Although it got a little harder around the edges, because it is so thin you don’t notice it as much as you do on some of the thicker breads that get really chewy or inedible.

Huh. I guess this one is almost better. Who knew!?!

Alright, so here’s the deal. With all of the changes afoot around here it seems like now’s as good a time as any to introduce a new reviewer, right? You all remember Derek, don’t you? Well when he packed his bags and headed home to Indiana we had a void to fill. Well, a couple of voids really. There was the void in our office, but also the void on the site. See, Derek said he’d continue to send in reviews but I don’t see anything yet. I’m still waiting on a Church’s Chicken Tasty Lie. JUST DO IT, DEREK.

When they filled his place in the office I think we were all pleasantly surprised with the person they chose. The thing is, you’re always afraid a dick will show up to take an open spot in an office and screw up the flow. That didn’t happen. Instead we ended up with this pretty cool chick named Nikki.

As has become standard, she was forced to do a Tasty Lie review. It’s a rite of passage in this office. You’ve got to be part of Tasty Lies, because it’s awesome. Now my coworkers just need to make sure she keeps submitting things.

And hopefully they don’t hire a dick when I’m gone.

So today Nikki is reviewing a Lipton Cup-A-Soup. I think it’s definitely a step up from Cup O Noodles. This one’s got actual meat in it. I know the quality of the meat is questionable, but it’s better than no meat. Check it out!

Soup in a coffee cup! This soup actually looks like pretty decent chicken noodle soup. I’m not sure what it is about chicken noodle soup that always looks good. It’s my go to whenever I’m feeling a bit under the weather. The broth in this is nice and bright, there’s a bunch of noodles and even quite a few chunks of chicken. Let’s check out the real deal!

It’s quite a bit more frothy than it was above. The box shows a clear broth. Perhaps it would settle down to that though if left standing. It makes it a bit hard to see chicken but I see plenty of noodles and the broth color is right. Let’s see what Nikki thinks…

Hello Tasty Lies and tasty lies followers. My name is Nikki and I’m making my debut review on this blustery winter morn. Today I will be reviewing Lipton cup-o-soup. Upon rekindling my love/hate relationship with red wine last night, I found myself needing some comfort and warmth. Enter hearty chicken noodle (with white meat) cup-o-soup! One of my co-workers asked if I’d be making it in a cup to which I replied “of course, idiot! It’s CUP-o-soup. I can’t very well make it in a bowl!” It’s probably the simplest soup to make—even easier than my beloved ramen. All you have to do is heat up a regular sized coffee cup’s worth of water(6 oz or so) in the microwave or use the hot water-spout from your office coffee machine, which is what I did because I’m very lazy. Then you open the pouch and dump in the chicken flavored powder and parts and voila! Soup! For the “work” required to make the soup, I’d say it’s a pretty great value. It tastes like chicken, which is all you can ask for from soup out of a paper pouch, it was warm and believe it or not, I do feel a bit better. They could stand to throw in a few more noodle thingies for texture, but overall it’s definitely worth the $0.15 per packet it roughly costs. Whether it’s a rainy fall evening or a hungover winter morning, Lipton cup-o-soup satisfies. Boom! Tasty lied!

Hope everyone had a happy holiday week or two. Things have been a bit busy here at Tasty Lies. Between the holidays, crazy work schedules, and an impending move there’s just been a lot to do.

I’ll be packing up and moving back out to the west coast next week, so it’s going to continue to be hectic for just a bit. Luckily once all is settled we’ll be able to continue making Tasty Lies bigger and better. The crew here in Wisconsin will continue to review things and, being in a different area, I’ll have access to all kinds of things we haven’t been able to try before. It’ll be awesome!

But let’s focus on today’s Tasty Lie, shall we? We’ve covered quite a few Taco Bell items on this site. Some of them, like the Cantina Tacos, never quite made the big impact we had hoped they would. Others, like the Doritos Locos Taco, have really taken on a life of their own.

Today’s is a bit different. It’s not some bold, new Taco Bell innovation. It’s actually one of their old standbys. Or a variation on one of their standard items, anyway.

The Nacho Cheese Gordita Crunch is a pretty simple idea. It’s a regular Gordita with the addition of a hard corn shell inside, giving it the crunch. Marissa tried one of these, so let’s check it out!

Looks pretty tasty for a Taco Bell item. The easiest way to describe it is it’s a hard shell taco inside of a soft shell taco. Taco Bell has that item, though. It’s called the Double Decker. This one’s a bit different. The tortilla shell isn’t the normal soft taco flour shell, it’s a bit thicker. And on the Double Decker there are refried beans between the two taco shells, this Gordita Crunch uses cheese to bind them instead. Upgrade. It also features a sauce that’s unique to Gorditas.

What does the actual menu item look like?

Well as is normally the case with Taco Bell, the lettuce overthrows just about everything else. They seem to pack a ton of lettuce into their items as often as they can. It’s a smart move, too. It’s a great, cheap filling. The actual Gordita soft-shell tortilla is much thicker on the actual product than on the advertisement above. If you know what you’re getting yourself into with a Gordita it’s not much of a surprise. But if you don’t know that particular line of food it might catch you off guard.

Let’s see what Marissa though:

I’ll be honest with this one. This taco is about 2 things for me.

It doesn’t come with tomatoes so I don’t have to ask for them off and then find them lurking anyway.

The sauce.

Oh…the sauce. That creamy, spicy, yummy, amazing, delicious Pepper Jack sauce is the only reason I wish for the creepy blue-black Black Jack tacos to come back. I said I was being honest, so here it is: I will probably eat anything they put this sauce on. It makes me SO happy.

Ok, fine. I’ll talk about the stupid vehicle for my sauce now. The Gordita has the fluffy softness surrounding the hard shell. The good thing about this is it helps prevent shell breakage (and we ALL know how annoying that can be). Everything else about it is standard Taco Bell tacoiness. Except for the sauce. Have I told you about the sauce?

Today at Tasty Lies we are taking aim at a heaping helping of potatoes and cheese! Is it good for you? Hell no. It’s a bowl of potatoes and cheese. But it sure looks great.

I’ve noticed that most frozen meal lines have a variation of this meal. A dish where potatoes are the main draw is nice enough. Everyone loves cheesy potatoes. How delicious can your Lean Cuisine potatoes and cheese dish be, though? After all they have to keep the calories, carbs, and fat down. Stouffer’s has the elbow room to make with the goods though, so hopefully they do.

Without further ado, the CHEDDAR POTATO BAKE!

This looks like the kind of food you’d make up when it’s raining or snowing outside. It’s hot, filled with cheese, filling, and just plain hearty. The addition of bacon makes me a happy camper. It’s essentially what you’d get if you ordered loaded potato wedges at a bar. We all know that loaded wedges are the best appetizer, so bless you Stouffer’s for bringing it home to me.

It’s simple. Just potatoes, cheese sauce, bacon, and what looks like some bread crumbs on top. Perfect. Let’s see what it really looks like.

It definitely looks more like a casserole than an appetizer, but it looks downright cheesy! I’m sold! Way more bread crumbs than the box would have you believe, but it adds a nice little crust to the top.

The meal itself is actually pretty good. The potatoes are a little bland, but the combination of the cheese and the bacon more than make up for it. This isn’t a particularly healthy meal and having it regularly for lunch would be a terrible plan. That said, it was a nice treat the day I had it.

The holidays are coming up and if you plan to do your holiday shopping with Amazon, please feel free to use our affiliate link. With every purchase you make a portion of it will be kicked back into the site to cover our costs. The prices don’t change for you and you get to help us out! Thanks and enjoy today’s Tasty Lie!

Breakfast time! It’s still early morning somewhere in the world so I’m tossing up a breakfast meal. We’ve had another Aunt Jemima meal before, very similar to this one. The only difference between the two is where this one has sausage, the other had bacon. If that meal was any indicator, this one should be okay.

It’s crazy to think that Aunt Jemima dates all the way back to a song in 1875. And it’s an insane history laced with Vaudeville singers performing in blackface. Seriously, you should read the history of the Aunt Jemima company, it’s a little nuts. Racism in corporate America! Huzzah!

Back to the food, though. Not a lot of people know Aunt Jemima makes frozen meals, yet everyone knows of the batters and syrup. In fact after a quick look at the official Aunt Jemima website I can’t even find mention of the frozen meals. Very strange. No surprise that there’s no mention of blackface in the company’s history, though. The company’s history does note that they licensed out their frozen meal rights to another company in 1996, though. With a little Google magic I was able to find the Aunt Jemima Frozen Meals website, which is far more thorough and better designed than Aunt Jemima’s actual website.

Enough of Aunt Jemima’s weird history, on to her FOOD!

That face, even though it’s not the face of a real person, just looks so inviting. She wants me to enjoy her breakfast. And I want to enjoy it.

The meal itself looks pretty decent. The sausage links look nice and plump, you get a nice pile of scrambled eggs, and then there’s the hash brown bar. I learned last time we did this that the hash brown in the box is a lot bigger than the one ON the box. So that’s a nice bonus. Let’s see the real meal.

This one definitely has more eggs in it than the other one we reviewed. However they still have that strange yellow tint to them that screams “THESE ARE NOT REAL EGGS, CHRIS. BE AFRAID.” The hash brown bar is just as big, which rocks. The sausage links look as big as they were on the box, which makes me very happy.

The eggs taste better in this than they did in the bacon version of this meal. They’re not as dry. The hash brown is, not surprisingly, still pretty soggy. I like a little crunch to my hash browns but that’s just not there with this one. The sausage links themselves were nice and hot and pretty tasty, but just a little on the rubbery side. Bummer. A decent and cheap breakfast if you’re in a hurry, but it’ll never take the place of the real thing.

Shepherd’s Pie is one of the great meals of our time. You see, pie is delicious. Pie is amazing. Shepherd’s Pie takes pie one step further by making it a full-on meal, instead of a dessert. The Shepherd’s Pie I usually get is filled with root vegetables and beef in some manner of gravy-like sauce. The pie crust is mashed potatoes.

This sort of thing exists because sometimes the world gets things right. It’s just a great combination of things topped with a more amazing thing.

Today we have a version of that. This one is from Amy’s, so it doesn’t have any meat in it. As a matter of face it’s made from organic ingredients. That’s Amy’s specialty, their meals are Vegan and Organic. They’re a nice and healthy alternative to a lot of the things you’ll find on this site so that’s why we like to spotlight them when we can.

This one comes from Christen, let’s check it out!

It actually looks really good. This one seems to have more of a red sauce than a gravy. It looks more watery than gravy and is likely vegetable-based sauce. It’s a cool way for it to be different. Obviously with no meat the makeup of the dish was going to change, but this is a change I like. I see big chunks of veggies underneath a mashed potato crust. Please let this work out. PLEASE.

But I said PLEASE. Does that mean NOTHING? Well, it looks like hell. It doesn’t look like the box. The box looked delicious. This looks weird and messy and sad. I’m not sure what else to even day about it. Let’s take a look inside.

At least we know there are veggies in there. The sauce isn’t quite as red as it is on the box but it sure seems to be the same consistency, and is definitely a little greasier. Maybe this meal isn’t a total loss. It looks nothing like the box, but maybe the taste makes up for it. For that, we turn to Christen.

Today I had Amy’s Shepherd’s Pie. The first thing that I have to point out is that this is a meatless Shepherd’s Pie, which just seems wrong right off the bat. But, considering I really like Amy’s meals, and I really like Shepherd’s Pie, I figured this couldn’t turn out too bad.

Cooking it in the microwave was pretty tricky. The directions said to cook for 5 minutes, which I did. The result was overspill and burning on the edges and a cold center. Probably a better idea to cook on a lower power for longer. It’s also possible to toss it in the oven, if you’re around an oven, so I would probably recommend that. Eating this meal was still really enjoyable, though. The flavor was great. I wasn’t really looking forward to the garbanzo beans, but they were cooked really well, so they were soft and actually tasted good. Apparently, there were also turnips, which I’m not sure if I’ve ever had. It sort of had a flavor of all the ingredients mixed together, as opposed to ingredient flavors standing out on their own. Since there was no meat, it kind of tasted similar to a vegetable soup or stew. I don’t think the potatoes had much flavor but definitely added that comfort-food quality. The portion was pretty filling, but I would have liked just a little bit more. The nutrition facts really make me smile: 160 calories, 4g fat, 590mg sodium, 27g carbs, 5g protein and 5g fiber. It also has Vitamins A and C, Iron, and Calcium. So healthy. I definitely prefer Shepherd’s Pie with meat, but this is a great vegan option. I’d give this meal 3.5 out 5 stars.

So here’s the deal: McDonald’s has a new sandwich. It’s not even a sandwich, it’s a line of sandwiches. They have three variations on this and they actually look pretty good. The weird thing is the name.

The sandwich in question is the CBO. Now, CBO is a weird name for a sandwich, right? It stands for Cheddar, Bacon, and Onion. Those are the three components of the sandwich that don’t change. You can get this on a burger, on a grilled chicken sandwich, or on a crispy chicken sandwich.

The one we are focusing on today is the Crispy Chicken CBO thanks to Marissa. Is it a good sandwich? Or is this one of the many that will end up in the graveyard of failed McDonald’s products. Click that link to see exactly what I’m talking about. Let’s find out just how good, or bad, the CBO is.

Well hello, hello. I like the look of this. I want it immediately. Of course THAT version of the sandwich probably doesn’t exist, let’s not kid ourselves. The first thing on this sandwich that stands out to me is the onions. I’m not sure if they’re sautéed or grilled, but they look different from the run of the mill chopped onions you would normally get on a McDonald’s burger. The ‘C’ in CBO is white cheddar, which I think helps the sandwich to stand out amongst a sea of regular ol’ yellow cheese on burgers. Nice touch. The chicken looks plump and golden brown, exactly how you’d like to have your friend chicken. Did they manage to make it work for the real product? Let’s find out!

The actual sandwich leaves a lot to be desired compared to the advert, but what do you expect? They throw these together in a rush to get them out the window and get you back on the road. Sad, but true. Not even really sad, just true. There’s quite a bit more sauce on the sandwich than the first picture would lead you to expect. There also seem to be fewer onions, which is unfortunate as that’s what stood out to me most. The onions that are there seem to be swimming in sauce.

All of that said, this looks pretty good for a McDonald’s sandwich. The white cheddar, as expected, stands out. The piece of chicken actually looks bigger than in the advert photo which is always welcome. Even the bacon seems nicer than most fast food burgers. All too often you get the overly flat bacon that reminds me of that pre-cooked bacon you can buy at the store. This doesn’t seem to be that and I dig it. And the bun, I can’t forget the bun. For some reason whenever I get specialty sandwiches with fancy buns from fast food places I often times am not given the proper bun. But they come through with the bun here. Good work, guys. But what did Marissa think?

I was a little trepidatious to try a new McDonald’s sandwich. But it just looked SO good in the commercials. I was happy to find out I didn’t have to get the C.B.O. (Cheddar, Bacon, Onion) as a burger, but could get chicken. Whew! Now I’m less scared! The sandwich was well put together and everything looked good. I wish the cheese was a little more melty, but that’s what happens. I guess melty cheese would have meant it was sitting there longer, so this is a good alternative. Whatever the sauce is that is on it, definitely has a kick to it and is a lot spicier than I thought it would be. The onions are yummy and not at all the greasy, gloppy mess that I was anticipating. The Crispy chicken adds a nice texture, but I might get it again with grilled to try to save a few calories. After eating the whole thing, I still have no idea what the sauce is. Something horseradishy or mustardy or something. I’d definitely get it again. It was really good for a McDonald’s sandwich and pretty good as a sandwich.

Update…when I got to a computer to write this up, I checked the McDonald’s site. No mention of sauce. It’s in the picture, but I still have no idea what it is since it doesn’t list it as being on the sandwich.

Pizza! Happy Thursday everyone! My real job is getting back to normal after a fairly difficult political season so hopefully this will mean more time getting these reviews up.

I’d never heard of Macaroni and Cheese pizza before I moved to Madison, WI. There’s a place here called Ian’s Pizza that specializes in fancy pizzas, weird flavors I never expected to see on a pie. Most of them totally work and are a hell of a good idea after a night at the bar.

So when I heard about Mac and Cheese on a Pizza I knew I had to give it a shot. I’ve tried it at a couple of different places around town and, I’ll be honest, it’s not really for me. It’s carb on carb crime and just a little too heavy for my taste. However, I totally get the draw. It’s super cheesy and a really good idea. Just not my cup of tea.

I was surprised to see a frozen version in the store, though. And it wasn’t even a specialty brand of pizza. There’s a lot of those here; Pizzeria Uno, Gino’s East, Home Run Inn…Stuff I never really saw in the grocery store on the west coast. This Mac and Cheese pizza was actually from one of those pizza for the masses company, decent sized pizzas for like 2 or 3 bucks.

Naturally, I had t try it. Even if this wasn’t a pizza I was wild about it was new and cool and deserved to be checked out. So that’s what we’ve got for you today. Hopefully, you dig it.

NEW FLAVOR! The box wouldn’t lie. It looks pretty cool. Macaroni and Cheese Pizza is a strange beast. There’s no pizza sauce. I love pizza sauce and when it’s missing it bums me out a little. It’s all cheese sauce with melted cheese on top. A little weird.

Honestly there’s not a lot I can say that isn’t put out there by the picture. It’s a thinner crust like a lot of frozen pizzas and there’s macaroni and cheese on top. What more do you want from a Macaroni and Cheese pizza?

There it is, in all it’s cheesy glory. I’d say the box is an accurate portrayal of the pizza. It’s not a big pizza by any means, but it’s a heavy pizza. What else are you expecting from a pizza with pasta as a topping along with cheese and a cheese sauce? There’s really no way for this to be a light snack.

Naturally you could also surmise that this isn’t really a nutritional meal either. The pizza shown above on one of my admittedly larger dinner plates isn’t a lot bigger than most single-serving pizzas. However if you take a look at the nutritional information on the left you’ll see that this is meant to serve four people. I had a quarter of the pizza and was still pretty hungry. Half of it seemed to do the trick though. I don’t know if it’s because I was full or that it was such a heavy meal that I simply didn’t want anymore.

This pizza is far more greasy than the versions I had in actual pizza parlors, but I also expected that a bit. It’s more bland than it’s freshly prepared counterpart, obviously.

I made this in the oven so the crust was nice and crispy. I’m usually not a fan of crispy crust pizzas, but when it comes to frozen pizzas I prefer them that way for some reason. So the crust worked for me.

I would definitely say this is a good cheap impersonation of a mac and cheese pizza. Then again, mac and cheese pizza likely isn’t something you’re going to eat often so if you are going to try it just do it the right way and get it from a pizzeria.

It’s just about Halloween, Thanksgiving isn’t far behind, and then comes Christmas and New Year’s. We’re arrived, ladies and gentleman. It’s the crappy eating season. The time of year where we have holidays based around candy and delicious foods, a time of year where being gluttonous is quite alright.

Luckily we’ve got Christen here to keep us a bit on the straight and narrow. Might as well eat good and healthy while we can, right? Today she’s checking in with a review of the Tofu Scramble from Amy’s. It’s all natural, it’s organic, it’s gluten and dairy free. It also packs a good 22 grams of protein. Not a bad lunch at all. Let’s check it out!

It’s essentially a vegan breakfast. And yes, it is Vegan. I did a quick check of the website to verify. Amy’s makes quality frozen vegan meals. This one looks no different. I am always a little unsure of tofu. It’s good sometimes, not so good other times. Here it’s taking the place of the eggs.

It just looks like a nice scramble dish you might make at home on a lazy Saturday morning. The tomato slices on the side are a nice touch. What does it actually look like?

Not far off, really. The big difference is the tomatoes. While on the box they look like fresh-cut tomatoes, these have obviously been frozen and reheated. Still, having them in the meal is a really nice addition to a meal. The meal probably would have been just fine without them, so adding them in is a cool bonus.

The rest of it looks pretty good, exactly what I would expect. A scramble of tofu and veggies with some hash browns on the side. Not bad for a breakfast, or in Christen’s case a lunch. But what did she think of it?

Today for lunch I had Amy’s Tofu Scramble. I have to say, it was a lot better than I was expecting. The tofu really did have a scrambled egg kind of texture — it wasn’t too spongy. I’m not a big tofu person, but I will try it from time to time. I’ve had other Amy’s meals made with tofu that I didn’t really care for. This was much better. I loved the flavor of everything. The scramble also had spinach, carrots, zucchini, mushrooms, and onions. On the side, it had hash browned potatoes and slices of tomato. I loved the sides, too. The hash browns weren’t crispy since they were cooked in a microwave, but they weren’t soggy or mushy either. The whole meal cooked really well, in my opinion. This meal had

320 calories, 19g fat, 590mg sodium, 19g carbs, and 22g protein. The fat content is on the high side for healthy frozen meals, but look at the protein. Also, the ingredients include extra virgin olive oil, so I bet we can safely assume that most of the fat in this meal is healthier than other frozen meals with a fat content around 19g. This Amy’s meal is certified organic, kosher, vegan, contains no dairy or lactose, no corn, no gluten, no preservatives, no trans fat, and no MSG. I give it 5 out of 5 stars. I have zero complaints.
